HTRSA Season Information

Spring Season
The spring season runs from early April to mid June.  HTRSA does not have a picture program for the spring season.  We emphasize the spring season is just for fun, as there are no standings for any age level.  Approximately 200 boys participated in our spring program last year.  The boys will play approximately 8-12 games depending on age level and availability of the fields.  Game times vary, however, the younger boys typically play Saturday or Sunday.  The older boys can play on one or more days including Saturday, Sunday and some evenings.  Parents will receive a schedule of games once registration is complete and the teams have been assigned. Due to the season ending with school letting out we usually do not have an end-of-season party.  However,  last year, through the efforts of John Driver, we had a wonderful picnic for the boys.  We anticipate having another picnic this year upon completion of the season.  We are looking for volunteers to help organize the event.  If you are able to help, please contact Valiere Simpson.

Fall Season
The fall season begins with an opening day in early September.  The season runs from September to very early November. HTRSA is a recreational soccer league, however, for the older boys, we have standings and at the end-of-season party those teams are recognized for their achievements.  After the regular season is complete, the older age levels usually have playoffs. Dependent upon age level, the Fall program includes 10-15 games.  HTRSA also hosts a picture day to keep those treasured memories, trophies, and an end-of-season party.  Games times vary like the spring, with the younger boys playing Saturday, Sunday or both.  The older boys can play on one or more days during the week, Saturday, Sunday, etc.  For more information about the fall season, please contact Tom Cody.

Parents/Players

Responsibilities - All parents and players are responsible for attending every practice and game.  If you are unable to attend, please contact the coach so that he/she can adjust any schedules and/or practices necessary.  Remember, our coaches are YOU!  They are parents just like you volunteering their time for your children.  It is very disheartening to take the time out of our busy lives to schedule a practice and have less than half the team show up!
