HTRSA is looking forward to an exciting and unique Fall season!

With the Covid-19 pandemic, it has presented many challenges have been presented for group participation sports. Player and member safety is our utmost concern and we at HTRSA want to ensure all children and members have a fun and safe experience during this fall season.

HTRSA will be implementing a multi-faceted approach for the safety of the children and our members.

To make this work, we need all parents, spectators, children, and coaches to assist us with this effort.

We will be performing or asking you to observe the following:

  • The complex building will be deep cleaned by an outside company prior to the commencement of activities. Certification will be visible in the building.
  • Signage with the limits and instructions will be placed at all congregate locations.

  • Rest rooms and building will be cleaned and sanitized before every game day.

  • Rest rooms and congregate locations will then be sanitized periodically during the game day.

  • Surface cleaning of the concession stand will be ongoing throughout the day.
  • When possible, limiting the number of individuals in the rest rooms to one at a time. To maintain social distancing rest rooms should have no more than two people at any one time.

  • Coaches will be instructed on proper procedures and requirements for player safety based on CDC, NJYS and State of NJ guidelines.

  • We ask all members follow proper social distancing and take necessary precautions as outlined by the CDC, NJYS and State of NJ.  All non-players and players not actively on the pitch are required to wear a face covering.

  • The number of players and spectators at any one time, will be limited by the scheduling of games.

  • We will leave buffer time built in for parents and players to arrive before and exit after games and for equipment cleaning. We ask all participants to be prompt for their game times and not linger after games if they have no more games for that day.

  • Please observe all traffic flow directions for entering or exiting all areas of the complex.  This includes fields, concession stand and rest rooms.
  • We ask parents & guardians, if your child is sick or not feeling well, please stay home until they feel better.  If you are unsure, parents and guardians may check temperatures before game days. Temperatures on or above 100.4 could be the sign of an infection and players should not participate that day.  Please contact your primary care physician if symptoms worsen or do not improve.

  • We ask you to self-report to the league if there is a confirmed case within your immediate family and you believe there was direct contact with another individual/persons at HTRSA. We will anonymously notify those players/members/teams affected that there was a possible exposure.

  • This fall season, the concession stand will be staffed solely by concession supervisors.  We will not be utilizing parent volunteers.

Soccer is considered a medium-risk sport and is currently in Phase 4.  Please click on this info-graphic link provided by NJYS for additional information.  A video has also been provided by NJYS via this link.  The current graphic and video are for phases 1-4.

Please note, the conditions during this pandemic have continually evolved and changed weekly, sometimes daily. We know additional information and new guidelines will be forthcoming. They can change at any time, so we ask everyone to be flexible and we will adjust accordingly.

Thank you, we hope to see everyone for a FANTASTIC FALL SEASON!

Be well.
