Volunteer Coaching Requirements

Coaches must fill out a Kid Safe form, a USYS Membership form, and MUST be fingerprinted. If you've been fingerprinted later than last 2 years, it must be done again.. If you have NOT been fingerprinted for a Hamilton Township sponsored sport, you MUST be fingerprinted before coaching. If you have any questions contact the Hamilton Township Recreation Department @ 890-4028.

All volunteers must also take an online course about concussions in youth sports. This must be done every two years. Print out the certificate at the end of taking the course and bring it to our pre-season coaches meeting.

When filling out the online application Contributor's Case# you MUST type "LO5001" which is Hamilton Twp's VRO number. Without this you will not get placed on the Hamilton Twp List of approved volunteers and you will have to go through the process again.

The closest place to have them taken is SAFRAN Morpho Trak in Ewing in the Parkway Corp Center 1230 Parkway Avenue Suite 102 Ewing, N.J. 08628. The club will in turn reimburse you for the cost. After fingerprinting is completed you will be given a receipt with a PCN# on it. Keep a copy of the receipt for your files and return a copy of receipt to the HTRSA eboard for reimbursement.

Remember...avoid the 3 L's  (Laps, Lines, and Lectures) and stress the 2 Fs (FUN and FUNDAMENTALS)!
