HTRSA in the news

June 10, 2010 - Pictures are in.  They will be handed out to your coaches during the games this coming Saturday, Sunday and Wednesday.  If anyone is missed during the games, they can be picked up from your coach or at the end of season picnic.  The end of season picnic is scheduled for June 22 (Tuesday) from 6:pm - 9:pm at the HTRSA Complex Building.  A rainout date is set for June 23 same times.  Anne Cody will be contacting the coaches with additional details.  All players, both parents, and coaches are free.  Anyone else who wants to come we are asking for a $5 donation to cover additional food costs.

In-Person Fall Registration

We will be having one final in-person registration day on 6/5/10 (Saturday) from 9:am - 12:pm. The registration will be held at the Tender Hearts Building on scully avenue, across from Olden Pharmacy. Signup now to reserve your spot in the Fall!!

Volunteers to sell candy

We are looking for volunteers to sell Candy.  We have a surplus of candy that we need to sell as soon as possible. If you can sell a box or two for us, please contact Anne Cody @ 890-6845.  We can take payment for the candy after it is sold.

Red Bull Tickets

If you've never been to a MLS soccer game, HTRSA has some great seats for the New York Red Bulls.  Tickets are discounted to $20 each.  Game dates can be found on our Website at http://www.htrsa.com  Contact Anne Cody for additional details.

February 2, 2010 - Well, it's been three years since our last survey (Membership 2006 Survey).  The results are in!  We emailed 691 active participants this past season to see how we are doing. 161 people responded to our survey.  Percentage wise, not as good as the 2006 survey but we did email a number of different surveys this year. (Coaches ranking, non-member surveys, etc.)

The verdict?   A solid B (3.01).  Better than our last overall league average of (2.88) and marked improvement in a couple of our divisions. Review the Membership 2009 Survey for additional details.  This league uses your survey marks and comments (not included in the summary data) to address issues, concerns and areas we need to improve or areas we need to leave alone!  We done a number of things to improve our uniform quality, cut costs, balance teams but only with constant improvement will this be the best league in NJ.  One sure-fire way to make this an A league in all areas... is to VOLUNTEER.  Dedicated, thoughtful, and resourceful VOLUNTEERS will make this league successful.

February 1, 2010 - I'm going to try to keep up with the news...  With everything else going on, I'm running out of witty things to say!  If anyone would like to be a webmaster and take over, drop me an email!  Anyway, we will have 3 in-person registration dates this year.  They are February 13,  March 6 and March 20 at the Tender Hearts Building on Scully Avenue.  We need volunteers to help us with registration day, so if you can donate a couple hours either in the morning or afternoon that would be most appreciated.  Also this year, we agreed to not increase any prices... but as fortune would have it, our cost of candy went up $5.00.  The upside is, now there are only 30 bars @ $2.00 a bar to sell, and I hear they are much larger!  You'll also reclaim the $55 for the box of candy and profit the $5.00!!  That's lunch for two off the dollar menu!

January 3,2009 - Happy New Year!  I hope everyone has had a safe and fun-filled holiday season.  Our next meeting is January 8th at the Tender Hearts Building on Scully Avenue @ 8:00PM.  We are in the planning stages for the upcoming Spring and Fall programs.  We are looking for a variety of volunteers so please come out and see what we are about.  We are always looking for individuals to better this program.
